Electrical Project Engineer - Hamilton

We have a vacancy within our Hamilton based Engineering team for an Electrical Project Engineer. The role is varied and challenging and will require the successful candidate to be experienced in electrical power, controls and automation. If you are an electrician with relevant experience and looking to make the next step in your career or an electrical engineer looking for change this position could be for you.

Responsibilities will include the design, development and implementation of electrical, control systems and will involve hands on role in supporting the installation of the equipment and onsite testing and commissioning.

The following experience would be ideal for this position:
New Zealand Electrical Registration with at least 5 years working experience.
Electrical and Controls design
PLC control systems
Job/ project supervision including staff.
Possess good spoken and written communication skills
Microsoft Office skills - Outlook, Word, Excel, Project,
Health and Safety focussed
Analytical / problem solving skills with a high level of attention to detail

Advantageous to have:
Project Management experience
NZCE/ Diploma qualifications (Instrumentation, Electrical)
Are proficient with at least one recognised CAD software package (e.g. AutoCAD).

Industrial Installation Electrician - Hamilton

We require the services of a N.Z. registered and experienced electrician to join our installation crew based at our Hamilton branch.

The successful candidate should have a varied experience of electrical installation practices in industrial and commercial situations i.e. tray and ladder installation, cable route planning and installation, switchboard wiring, looming and test and termination, motor installations, cable and general equipment installation.

Although the above experience is desirable it is not essential, as on job training is acceptable.

We require the successful candidate to start in the New Year, with that date being negotiable with the successful candidate.
